Floater frames are an excellent choice for artworks on canvas or photographic prints that are mounted and do not require glazing. The artwork is positioned slightly recessed below the front edge of the frame, helping to protect the surface from potential damage.
Tray frames provide an elegant and cost-effective solution for displaying large-scale prints without the need for specialist glass. Canvases are stretched on canvas stretcher frame and fitted into the frame. Paper prints are professionally mounted onto aluminum Dibond® or MDF board with a subframe underneath to ensure stability and durability, and then carefully floated within the frame, leaving a subtle gap between the artwork and the frame moulding.
For additional protection and longevity, the artwork can also be sealed using specialised mounting and finishing techniques (see mounting options).
